Membership

Due to insurance requirements, we have three categories of membership:

1. Members - Those who will be involved in working bees and volunteer to assist in society activities. Members receive the Society's bi-annual Newsletter, The Jamieson Chronicle, which contains information about the Society's progress, meetings and other activities, as well as articles about the district's past and are covered by our insurance policy.

2. Australian Subscribers - Those who have ancestors or an interest in our area and are unlikely to visit or volunteer, but wish to be kept informed through our bi-annual newsletter, The Jamieson Chronicle. Insurance cover is not required for this class of membership.

3. Overseas Subscribers - Those who live outside of Australia and have ancestors or an interest in our area. You are unlikely to visit or volunteer, but wish to be kept informed through our bi-annual newsletter, The Jamieson Chronicle. Insurance is not required for this class of membership.

Subscriptions and membership fees are put towards the cost of production and, where required, postage of our twice yearly newsletter, The Jamieson Chronicle, as well as the continued restoration, maintenance & day to day running costs of the old Courthouse building.

Fees

Members - Australia only    $15.00 per annum, one membership per household
Australian Subscribers    $10.00 per annum, one subscription per household
Overseas Subscribers    $15.00 AUD per annum, one subscription per household
