A visit to our Museum is an ideal way to begin your exploration of this historic region. Our display of artifacts, photographs and stories brings back to life the pioneering spirit of this region and illustrates the development of this once thriving gold mining district.

Self Guided Walks
We have two historic Self Guided Walks available.
The Heritage Walk takes you around the many historic buildings in Jamieson with descriptions and stories to delight. The Jamieson Cemetery walk takes you on a wander through Jamieson's little cemetery where you can learn, and marvel at, our pioneering legends.
You can pick up either of these brochures from the museum, Post Office, General Store or the Jamieson Caravan Park.
The Heritage Walk brochure is also now available in pdf format for you to print or download to your phone, as well as a phone friendly version for you follow from your smartphone.
