As a self taught artist I have closely studied the Australian Impressionists.  Artists such as Streeton and Tom Roberts have had a strong influence on my artistic approach.  When painting, I strive to capture the light, the heat, the dust and the movement of the Australian landscape.

I have always had a passion for drawing and took up painting in oils over twenty years ago. Even after all these years I still get excited about drawing and painting new subjects and trying new styles.
